My mum send me a message yesterday, ending with the two words: "keep cool"! As it fits perfectly to our situation at the moment I will dedicate the past few days to this theme "stay cool"! It is becoming increasingly hotter from day to day. Hot and humid. Our favorite weather ;) We like to spend the day time close to fans and if possible shower at least 3 times daily. It becomes yummi warm when treating some of the children, jumping around and cuddling.
So last sunday we, denise, john and I, decided to go to veega land! An amusement park with water slides, fun rides and lazer-water shows...and actually many more things...but most important: water!! :-) It was a fun and interesting day. Veega land is situated a little outside of kochi. On arrival at 10:45h it was very relaxed and almost desterted, denise and john having the first ride for almost themselves. I took some photos which you can see bellow.
Of course it filled up later. We noticed we were the only tourists...all the others indians, mainly young men. All of them behaving like little children. It was so great to see how much they were enjoying themselves!!!! They seemed to be so free and worry less.
The indians, naturally, slide with their clothes on!! No bathing suits...but rather shorts and t-shirts or kurtas and long pants. The girls even wearing all of their jewellery!!!!!!!!!!! So we joined and were wearing shorts-skirt-t-shirts. Feels quite heavy and wet after a while, but actually it wasn't too bad!
Anyway, it was a nice and fun day to cool off!
Last night it rained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first time since our first week here! And not a little!!!! It was so loud and i assume a lot of water....this morning the air is very cool and fresh! Wonderful!!! I wish it would rain more often!

Enjoy your day and make the best of it! Especially enjoy the weather....doesn't matter where we are and what we do, nobody seems to be ever statisfied with it and wishes for something else...so just enjoy. It's the best weather you can have right now! Even if it's raining...:-)
